Hi : The democrats in Maine took back both state houses in November. The teachers union spent 2.5 million USD to defeat the republican majoriy. Guess those teachers make more then they cry poor all the time. One third of the state collects some form of welfare thanks to the democrats buying votes, like Obama, & it works !!

Hello. In response to your comments about Oil Refineries and capacity. There is NOT an over capacity of oil refineries in the Americas. Right now there is an artificial oversupply over because of the reduced economy and because so many people are out of work. As the economy picks up and more people go back to work we will very quickly have a shortage of refineries. And oil companies that drill for oil make profits when the price of oil increases, but Oil companies that own refineries often lose money when the price of oil goes up. Overall for the last 10 years plus Oil Refineries have not made adequate profits and in many cases have lost money. That is why some oil companies have sold off or closed there refineries. You may not like it, but businesses NEED to make profits to stay in business and to employ workers, and provide you with the products that you want.

crep1921, I personally haven't driven a Volt but my neighbor has one and his is always plugged in or just parked. He says he can drive it up from Kelowna to Vernon but coming back he uses gas. His hydro bill is higher by more than the cost of the gas in his Elantra (other car). I was interested and he warned me off. "Dumest thing I ever did" he said, don't buy one. It is useless out here in the BC Interior.

Thank you for doing some research on the MN wind issue.
I live in Minnesota, And that article was VERY slanted. The utilities did it to themselves by signing "pay for it, even if you don't use it" contract.

Re "who cares" , we Canadians should care, everything that clown does down there affects us either directly or indirectly.
