I know what you mean. I have that defiant nature myself. If I am going to be a rug to be walked over, management should be careful they don't trip up on one of the employee handbook, union rules, state or Federal laws! I'm watching for everything. Darn migraines. I need to have a 3-day series of treatments and I'm reading the employee handbook. They could require FMLA paperwork and I may not qualify because I had an injury and light duty in 2012. I may not have worked enough hours to qualify for FMLA - I know I'm close to the 1250 hour requirement. I hate being in this predicament - I have had a migraine since 12/26 and the urgent care treatment didn't help much and I have already missed 3 days of work. Then there is the cost factor. My insurance company had to approve the treatment so I know this will be more than the $10 copay. I'm guessing it's going to be about $300 out of pocket. This just plain sucks!
